Seminar Session:       Piloting and Evaluating 4HCCS Products 

Participant Outcomes:      

          To develop skills in the use of 2005 4HCCS materials.

          To experience best practices in teaching and training of 4HCCS materials.

          To develop pilot evaluation skills and techniques.

          To take advantage of a train the trainer model in order to replicate the workshops in their home states. 

Cost:                           $50 per participant.
                                    Cost includes resource materials to replicate the workshops and lunch.

NAE4HA Integrated Conference

This integrated conference is especially design for university specialists and field staff who want to discover the latest in youth development research and discuss its relationship to NAE4HA professionals.

NAE4HA Rural Youth Development Preconference
Saturday, October 30, 2004
9 am to 4 pm
Registration Deadline: September 30  
Participants: RYD 1 and RYD 2 Grantees and Anyone Who Wishes to Attend for Professional Development
No Workshop Fee:  Proceedings Will be Sent After the Conference
 
Each state/project in attendance has an opportunity to bring a tabletop display to showcase their project, issues and outcomes, and will be asked to bring ½ to 1-page printed description of the project, issues and outcomes for people to take along with contact information. At each tabletop display, please plan to have one expert who can explain the nature, issues and outcomes of the project.

9:30-10:30 AM               Keynote Speech: Daniel Perkins of Pennsylvania
                                     Broad Introduction into rural youth issues – landscape of needs of rural youth

11:30- Noon                   Sharing Successes with Our Rural Youth Development Partners, GSUSA and FFA
 
12:00-1:30 PM               LUNCH – Table Topics with presentations back to group.  Also any oral presentations by program sites if desired.
