What to pack?

Fall weather in Oklahoma is "predictably" unpredictable.

Before closing your suitcase, be sure to check the weather link to see whether we're expecting seasonal weather (Highs in the 60's; lows in the 40's) or some other combination of elements.  An all weather coat 9 perhaps with a zip-out liner is a good idea.  Although you can reach the convention center through a skywalk from the Renaissance and a tunnel from the Westin, you will want to be prepared for a walk to Bricktown for lunch or dinner and the walking tour of the OKC Memorial.

As usual, dress for the business meetings and seminars should be business or business casual.

Suggestions for  other events/activities follow:

Pre-conference tours, Seminars on Wheels, Friends, and Family & life member tours:
Most involve both indoor and outdoor activities, along with a moderate amount of walking, so a jacket and comfortable shoes are a must.

Opening Event:
Business Casual or Western.

Photos/Rehearsal:
Photos for all award winners (Service, Communicator, Specialty, and Professional Development) will be taken immediately and after the Tuesday morning business meeting, so award winners should dress accordingly.

Oil Baron's Ball:
Formal/Semi-formal

Closing Event:
Western/very casual
